Sending email to Students

As in previous years, if teachers need to communicate with students via email, they need to do as follows:

 

Send messages to j28doe@kvschools.net   NOT    j28doe@kv.k12.in.us

 

These messages are handled by Gmail, not GroupWise. Students can send mail to teachers at either domain.

However, mail sent to teachers   @kvschools.net   will be delivered to Gmail only, not GroupWise.

Mail sent to teachers   @kv.k12.in.us    will be delivered to GroupWise.

If teachers are emailing students, they should regularly check their school Gmail account for replies.

 

Students cannot receive mail   @kv.k12.in.us. Students can receive mail ONLY   @kvschools.net.

Students  in grades 6-12 can also receive messages within Schoology.
