Embedding YouTube Video into a Google Classroom Assignment

In a Google Classroom course, select “Classwork”.

 

 

 

Next, click on “Create” and select “Assignment”

 

 

Click on the video icon to add a YouTube video.

 

 

 

In the next screen, paste the URL for your YouTube video into the search box and click on the search icon.

 

 

 

If the video in the preview is the correct video, click “Add Video”

 

 

 

The video should now show in the Assignment screen. Give the assignment a name, add any instructions, due date, etc., and click “Assign”.

 

The assignment should now be listed in your Classwork list.

 

 

If you click on the assignment, you should see the embedded video ready to view.
